Andrew Adams
I’m a writer and a former newspaper reporter and editor who has always appreciated good food, fine beverages and good times.
When I’m not earning a paycheck, I’m usually out enjoying life as best I can. I grew up in Sonoma, Calif. where I acquired an appreciation for wine and the wine life. After graduating from the University of Oregon I worked at various newspapers and also did a stint working harvest as a winemaking intern at Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena.
I made the painful decision to leave newspapers a few months ago, and I’m now working at Starmont winery in Napa. Please continue to read about my adventures in winemaking and the beverage world.

Most people won’t admit it, but I will: I’m a wine snob. Is it that bad to enjoy good wine? I’m in charge of marketing for a premium Napa Valley winery and I love learning more about wine every day. I’m committed to broadening my husband’s appreciation for wine from just big cabs, syrahs and zins to wines with more subtle characteristics. Two of the things I hate the most are junk food and a mess.
